What does "Aggregate failed" mean?
This error means our server was unable to successfully compile results for the address you searched. It's different from "Missing address" (which means the address doesn't exist in our system) — aggregate failed means we found the address but something went wrong when pulling data together.
Common causes
- Temporary upstream outage: one or more of our data providers had a momentary issue. This is the most common cause.
- Address at coverage boundary: the address is on the very edge of our service area and partial data created a pipeline conflict.
- Server timeout: the aggregation took too long and the request was cut short. This can happen during high traffic periods.
What to try
- Wait 30 seconds and retry: most aggregate failures are transient. Click the search button again or hit the retry button if one appears.
- Hard refresh: Cmd+Shift+R (Mac) or Ctrl+Shift+R (Windows) to clear the local cache and retry.
- Try a slightly different format: if you searched by street address, try adding the ZIP code.
- Check the status page: if we're experiencing a broader outage, it will be listed at our status page (check support@doesithaveit.com for announcements).
