Changing your plan

How upgrading and downgrading works, including proration and timing.

Upgrading

You can upgrade at any time from Dashboard → Billing. Scroll to the plan section and click Monthly or Annual under the plan you want. You'll complete a Stripe checkout, and your new plan activates immediately.

Proration: if you upgrade mid-cycle, Stripe prorates the charge — you only pay for the remaining days at the new plan's rate.

Downgrading

To downgrade (e.g., from Premium to Upgrade), open the Stripe customer portal via the Manage payment method button and change your plan there. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep your current plan's features until then.

Switching from monthly to annual

Annual plans are billed once per year at a discounted rate. To switch, use the Annual button in the plan grid on your billing page. The switch takes effect at your next renewal — you won't be double-charged.

Canceling vs. downgrading

Canceling removes your subscription entirely and you downgrade to Free at period end. Downgrading keeps a paid subscription active but at a lower tier. Both are handled through the Stripe portal or by emailing billing support.
