Updating your payment method

Step-by-step instructions to update your credit card or payment information via the Stripe portal.

How billing works

DoesItHaveIt? uses Stripe for payment processing. We never store your card details — everything is handled securely by Stripe. To update your payment method, you access the Stripe customer portal directly from your dashboard.

Steps to update

  1. Sign in and go to your Dashboard → Billing.
  2. Click Manage payment method. This opens the Stripe customer portal in a new tab.
  3. In the portal, click Payment methods in the left sidebar.
  4. Click Add payment method and enter your new card details.
  5. Set the new card as the default by clicking the three-dot menu next to it and selecting Make default.
  6. Optionally remove the old card.
  7. Close the Stripe portal tab and return to DoesItHaveIt?

What triggers a charge?

Your subscription renews monthly (or annually on an annual plan) on the same day you first subscribed. Stripe will charge your default payment method on renewal day. If the charge fails, you'll receive an email — update your payment method within 5 days to avoid account suspension.

Billing support

If you're having trouble with the Stripe portal, email billing@doesithaveit.com and we'll process any changes manually within one business day.
