Sparky's Likes is DoesItHaveIt?'s proprietary lifestyle-fit rating system — named after Sparky, our English Angora rabbit. Instead of showing you raw numbers, Sparky's Likes answers the question: how well does this address actually fit my life?
Every address lookup automatically scores the address across 12 lifestyle dimensions. No extra work on your part — the scores are computed from the same data we already pull for your results.
The 12 dimensions
- 🚌 Car-Free Living — Rates transit access, bike infrastructure, walking distance to groceries and services. High scores mean you can genuinely ditch the car.
- ⛰️ Adventurer — Hiking trails, national parks, ski areas, mountain biking, and seasonal outdoor activities within drive range.
- 🏫 Family-Friendly — Schools, licensed childcare, parks and playgrounds, healthcare access, and neighborhood safety profile.
- 🛡️ Safety & Stability — Crime data, wildfire hazard, official flood zone, radon zone, and other environmental risk factors combined into one score.
- 🌿 Eco-Conscious — Official and community air quality, cycling infrastructure, solar potential, EV charging availability, and environmental health data.
- 🛍️ The Shopper — Retail stores, shopping centers, malls, grocery access, and delivery service availability.
- 🎭 The Entertainer — Restaurants, concert venues, art galleries, theaters, museums, local events, and nightlife density.
- 🌾 Homesteader — Rural density, parcel/acreage data, water resource proximity, soil classification, and land-use signals.
- 💻 Remote Worker — Confirmed internet providers, advertised speeds, official provider count, cell coverage — everything a work-from-home setup needs.
- 🏔️ Vacationer — Attractions, ski areas, hiking, dining, car rentals, airport proximity, and tourist infrastructure overall.
- 💰 The Investor — Median rent, median home value, owner-occupancy rate, income levels, neighborhood safety, and infrastructure strength for rental appeal.
- 🐾 Pet Friendly — Veterinary clinics, pet daycare, grooming services, dog-friendly parks, and trail access.
How scores work
Each dimension produces a 0–100 score and a 0–5 star rating (half-star precision). Scores are weighted composites of the underlying data signals — for example, Car-Free Living weights transit access at 45%, cycling at 25%, and walkable grocery at 12%.
Scores reflect the data we have. If a provider didn't return data for a given signal, that component is treated as neutral rather than penalized.
